Lift Station Maintenance, Repair & Installation Services–

At Cloud 9 Services Inc. in Orlando, Florida, we specialize in lift station maintenance, repairs, and installation. Lift stations are used to lift any type of sewage from a building up into a sanitary sewer where the sewage is then treated. While these systems are advantageous for many property owners, problems gone unnoticed or not taken care of promptly can quickly turn into a larger sewage issue. In order for our clients to know when they have a problem with their lift station, we are able to offer information and proper care instructions to our clients.

The first bit of advice that we give to our clients with lift stations involves getting to know what type of lift stationthey have. There are two basic pumps that come with a lift station: a sewage pump and a grinder pump. One problem many property owners encounter is when the sewage pump of their lift station becomes clogged and stops working efficiently. Although grinder pumps are less prone to clogging, clogged lift station pumps are one problem that commercial and industrial property owners should be aware of. If you have a sewage pump as part of your lift station, avoid allowing large solids such as diapers and sanitary napkins to go through this pump. This will prevent large problems from occurring within your lift station.

If you have a lift station, we recommend that you have maintenance performed on your system regularly. If your require lift station maintenance or you encounter a problem that requires lift station repair, the experts at Cloud 9 Services Inc. are available to assist you at any time of the day or night, so contact us anytime.

What is a lift station for sewage residential?

When it comes to residential lift stations, wastewater lift stations are meant to pump wastewater from a low level to a higher level. It pumps waste from point A to point B.

All residential lift stations rely on electricity to get the flow going. Utilities need these systems in order to pump wastewater and sewage though different terrains.

This system is essential in residential neighborhoods that are made up of a pump, electrical parts and valves. One of the most important aspects of lift stations is that with the proper maintenance and inspections they are made to withstand constant use. In fact, a lift station can last 20 years.

What is a septic lift station?

A septic lift station replaces the traditional septic system controlled by gravity.

As previously mentioned, lift stations pump sewage and wastewater from a lower elevation to a higher elevation. The lift station is comprised of pumps that are triggered whenever the level of water or liquid rises. The float is then triggered, the pump turns on and lastly the sewage or wastewater is pumped out of the lift station.

We always emphasize proper upkeep and maintenance of any system especially lift stations. Having a lift station damage can make a repair costly and timely.

Why is my septic pump not working?

When your septic pump is not working, chances are that it traces back to the valves, in this case causing a leak. If liquid is leaking back into the septic system from the septic pump, there may be a faulty valve.

The main issue may be that the valve is not receiving and creating enough pressure to properly begin the septic flow. It is vital to the longevity of the system that you have all of its components checked for damage such as the motor, pump and valves.

Our lift station experts recommend having this checked immediately as it can cause a costly repair in the future.

Don’t troubleshoot the septic pump on our own, contact one of our technicians for a proper inspection and diagnosis.
