Cloud 9 Services, LLC was called out to the Tampa, FL area to service the storm drains located at the Tampa International Airport. Our technicians are utilizing the V-51 jet vac in order to dislodge and suck up the obstructions clogging up the storm drain pipes. As well as the V-35 camera to make sure all the gunk and debris is gone after the cleaning process is completed. This will also allow the camera technicians to check for any other problems that the gunk and debris may have been covering up. Once the storm drain cleaning and video inspections are completed the storm drains will have restored water flow to prevent further obstruction.
How often should a storm drain be cleaned out?
We recommend cleaning them out at least once a year. This number will likely need to go up depending on frequency of use, consult with the professionals at Cloud 9 Services, LLC to come up with a storm drain cleaning maintenance plan.
Unlike water that goes down the drains of your commercial property or business, the water in catch basins does not undergo a filtration process before reaching local lakes and streams. Therefore it's really important to keep these clean and free from contamination. These issues become even more prevalent during the rainy seasons so if you see any drainage issues be sure to contact us, 407-481-2750, to have one of our storm drain cleaning contractors come and take a look.
