QuickLock - Pipe Point Repair - Overview
Cloud 9 Services, LLC is a leader and Certified Installer in the Florida area providing its customers with QuickLock Point Pipe Repair. A QuickLock point pipe repair is one of several options used to fix a damaged pipeline. A major benefit is no excavation is needed using this trenchless technology. A QuickLock point pipe repair is newest and most trusted method used to rehabilitate any kind of pipeline; and can be installed with flow present.
The QuickLock point pipe repair system is constructed of a 316L stainless steel sleeve structural body, covered by a seamless EPDM compression seal. QuickLock sleeves can be installed with flow present due to the fact that the packer is hollow, allowing for the flow pass through. The QuickLock point pipe repair can be easily be installed with no cure time, because no resin is involved.
Through the manhole, the sleeve is inserted into the pipe and delivered to the damaged section. The sleeve is mechanically compressed against the inner pipe wall. Using an inflatable packer, the sleeve is then expanded and permanently locked into position.
Perhaps the strongest aspect that Cloud 9 Services, LLC brings to its customers is the diversity in pipeline rehabilitation. How Does a QuickLock Point Pipe Repair Work?
We use a 3 step process at Cloud 9 Services, LLC
First, the lines are evaluated with our video sewer cameras to determine what’s needed to resolve the problem and to assess if the pipe meets our minimum engineering requirements to accept a new QuickLock point pipe repair system.
Second, we thoroughly clean the lines using our high pressure water jetter and special tools to remove FOG (fat, oil, grease); dirt & mud; tree roots; debris; etc.
Third, we pull the QuickLock sleeve in place and inflate the packer to install the sleeve. The end result is the creation of a smooth and seamless ‘pipe within a pipe.’
However, the newer pipe is better:
1st - Roots cannot penetrate the new “jointless” pipe.
2nd - Augments structural strength & integrity of deformed and damaged pipe.
3rd - Best of all, in most cases the whole process is done below ground, which means landscape, hardscape, concrete and floors remain undisturbed. Trenchless pipe lining!
